From a young age, Dr. Kaur aspired to become a physician. However, it was the untimely passing of her father during her second year of medical school and the recognition of the inadequate healthcare he received that ignited her mission to ensure that no one else suffers the same fate.
Dr. Kaur is passionate about delivering quality, evidence-based healthcare tailored to her patients' individual needs, preferences, and cultural backgrounds. She earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Biology with minors in Chemistry and Psychology from Nova Southeastern University, where she also served as President of the Indian Students Association. This role spurred her involvement in research, further fueling her curiosity about human biology and disease.
After completing her medical education at St. Matthew's University School of Medicine in Grand Cayman, Dr. Kaur participated in diverse core and elective rotations across the U.S., allowing her to appreciate the varied practices of medicine. Her family medicine residency at Virtua Health in New Jersey solidified her commitment to providing compassionate care.
With years of experience at leading healthcare organizations in South Florida, Dr. Kaur founded KKaur MD to foster meaningful relationships with her patients, prioritizing personalized care over the constraints of the traditional healthcare system. Outside of work, she enjoys traveling and spending time with her husband, Vick, in Broward County.
