​​​​​She is passionate about her work & aims to provide quality (evidence-based) healthcare to her patients based on their individual needs, preferences & culture.

Dr. Kaur attended Nova Southeastern University where she earned a Bachelor of Science degree while majoring in Biology & minoring in Chemistry and Psychology. During her time at NSU, Dr. Kaur was also President of the Indian Students Association & worked hard to participate in & help lead various research projects & publications both in the Undergraduate School & School of Pharmacy. It was then that her curiosity to find the root cause of human biology & disease was born.

Shortly after graduating from NSU, Dr. Kaur attended St. Matthews University School of Medicine in Grand Cayman. Despite being on a beautiful island landscape, Dr. Kaur spent most of the 18 months on the island in the school’s lecture halls and library. She then went on to complete a variety of core & elective rotations in various sites throughout the country. This allowed Dr. Kaur to recognize how differently medicine can be practiced from region to region. This was a most special time, not only for learning but also, for developing character as well as lifelong friendships.

The following year, she continued her quest to become the kind of Physician that her Father had needed most, She joined a Family Medicine Residency Program at Virtua Health in Voorhees, New Jersey.

Over the last several years, she has held various roles in two of South Florida’s most prestigious healthcare organizations; Cleveland Clinic Florida & Baptist Health South Florida. These roles have consisted of traditional in-person Primary Care as well as Virtual Primary & Urgent Care, Leadership roles, Teaching roles, Community Awards & Community Education through TV & Media Outlets.

These well-rounded experiences gave Dr. Kaur the education and confidence to begin molding her practice style to include the latest evidence-based medicine that is delivered with care & compassion.

After years of practicing at some of South Florida’s most recognized & established healthcare organizations, it was becoming increasingly evident to Dr. Kaur that the current healthcare system is “broken.” There are many factors that contribute to this, but one of the most prominent has become Insurance Companies & their, sometimes, unrealistic expectations of Physicians and Patients. This “broken” system of “rush-rush medicine” has become an epidemic leading to poor healthcare & frustrated Patients. Dr. Kaur realized that this was not how she wanted to continue caring for her Patients; they deserve better.

This is when KKaur MD was born.

By removing most third-party interferences (i.e., Insurance Programs), Dr. Kaur hopes to establish the kind of relationship with her Patients that “good, old fashioned medicine” promised – adequate time with your Physician, readily-available access to your Physician and having a Physician who is as vested in your healthcare as you are & has the ability and time necessary to dedicate to you.

This is no longer a dream of Dr. Kaur’s; it is a reality…and a promising one! Though her journey has been tumultuous at times, it has given her the resolve to create a practice model that is beneficial to both her Patients & herself.

Dr. Kaur looks forward to continuing her passion for personalized healthcare care by studying & applying the evidence-based principles and methods of Lifestyle Medicine with her Patients’ care-plans; to prevent & treat many common illnesses.

While providing comprehensive healthcare bring her much joy, Dr. Kaur does also enjoy a variety of passions outside of the Office; with spending time with family & friends and traveling being at the top of the list. Dr. Kaur has lived in South Florida from the Age of four & still resides in Broward County with her Husband, Vick – an enthusiast of eclectic dining, motor racing and exotic fish.
